Before Purchase
1. What currency are the prices in?
All our prices listed are in US dollars. If you are using credit card payment method, our payment gateway will calculate and convert the prices for you in your respective currency.
2. What payment methods are available?
We accept Visa/ Mastercard through Paypal, Money order (USA customers please use International Money Order. E.g. Western Unions). For orders over USD$400 on credit card, we have a form for the customer to fill out and fax back to us. If this is not possible, we will look at each situation separately.
3. Do you charge taxes?
Purchases in British Columbia are subject to 7% PST and 5% GST. Purchases anywhere else in Canada are subject to 5% GST. Purchases outside of Canada are not subject to sales tax but may be subject to local duties (also known as brokerage fees or import duties).
4. Are there import duties and taxes in my country?
The import duties and taxes to USA is very minimal compare to other oversea countries. In most case, it is free. The duties depend on where you would like us to ship, and the value of the order. Please understand that customs policies vary widely from country to country. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. You may contact your local customs office for further information or drop us a email when you have any questions.
Shipping Service
1. How long does it take for an item to reach me after purchase?
We ship within 48 hours after payment is received and confirmed. The expected delivery date for USA and Canada Customers is 7 to 14 business days. During public or seasonal holidays or weekends (e.g.: Christmas, New Year, Easter, etc), mail service is expected to be slower, and it is perfectly normal. Please do not panic if your delivery date falls outside of 14 business days.
2. How can I guarantee that I will definitely receive the item? What protection policies do I get?
In the event that our customers do not receive their order, we will track the order with the post office and issue a reshipment if item is lost or if there is a shipping mishap.
3. Do you ship international?
We ship to most countries by USPS, Canada Post and UPS. However, certain products have distribution restriction, and we would mark that down in the specific product page. We will provide full refund immediately if we can't ship to your countries. We may or may not be able to ship orders to APO/FPO address due to Military Post Offices restrictions. 4. What happens if I refuse a shipment?
If you decide to refuse any shipments from greenergystar.com, you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to greenergystar.com. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund.
